Have a book that you need to create, but have limited time or energy to dedicate to it? Writing a book can be a labor-intensive task, and you don't have to do it alone. This collaborative process involves interviewing, organizing, and creating content in your voice and style. You provide the creative vision, and I do the heavy lifting. For a full-length book, this process usually requires 8-12 months minimum.

Looking for big-picture feedback on your manuscript? This service includes a full read-through of your current draft and a detailed report on what is working well and what needs adjusting. The report will include feedback on all major story elements like plot, character development, setting, and world-building. We will also meet over video to review the report and answer any questions you may have.

 

Pricing:

Under 60k words: $1200

60k - 80k words: $1400

80k - 100k words: $1600

100k - 120k words: $1800

120k - 140k words: $2000

140k - 160k words: $2200

(for word counts above 160k, an additional $200 will be added per 20k range)

If you’ve got a draft down on the page but aren’t sure what it needs in revision, a developmental edit will give you the insights and tools to successfully revise your manuscript. This service includes a full read-through of your current draft and a detailed report on what is working well and what needs adjusting. The report will include feedback on all major story elements like plot, character development, setting, and world-building. This edit will also receive comments and edits directly on the manuscript itself, giving you concrete guidance for a revision. This edit also includes a video meeting to review the report and answer any questions you may have.

If you hope to work with a traditional publisher, you will first need to submit your work to agents for consideration. There are several professional documents and elements you will need to prepare: a query letter (including bio, comparative titles, pitch, target audience, etc.), and a synopsis. This service includes support in creating and editing a query letter and synopsis. It also includes a list of 10 agents that I’ve handpicked that I believe are a good fit for your manuscript. We will meet up to 3 times on video to review the edits and help you feel confident sending your materials to agents.
